Biographical Note

George, a native of New York, is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator who is now based in Cyprus. With a professional background in ballet, contemporary, and Latin dances, he has built an extensive career in the dance industry. George has performed and taught on stages worldwide, including in Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Monte Carlo, Moscow, Bulgaria, Greece, Istanbul, Lebanon, Cyprus, Oman, India, and beyond. Notably, he has performed with the legendary Buena Vista Social Club and participated in the opening shows of the Fania All-Stars concert in Los Angeles. 

He was also a key member of the Salsa Sinners Dance Company, Greece's first professional salsa group, which was a pioneering force in the field for over a decade. With nearly 15 years of teaching experience, George has trained students, performers, teams, and professional dancers, many of whom have gone on to become teachers themselves in Greece, Cyprus, and the UK. Currently, he leads his own professional dance team in Cyprus and teaches at some of the island's most prestigious dance schools. 

George has developed his own distinctive style, “Afrotemporary Flow,” which blends elements of Afro, salsa, and contemporary dance while emphasizing fundamental dance principles and musicality. This approach has allowed him to deepen his understanding of dance and movement creation, resulting in a unique and analytical teaching methodology. 

As a choreographer, his works have been showcased at festivals around the globe and in theaters in Athens. His ultimate goal is to bring his choreography to theaters in Cyprus, continuing to share his passion and creativity with broader audiences
